Starting April 15, 2009, Jade Cargo will regularly operate flights between China, India and Africa. A Boeing 747-400 ERF is scheduled to fly twice a week from Shanghai via Shenzhen, Madras and Sharjah to the Nigerian city of Lagos. On the way back to China, there will only be one stop over in Sharjah.
“We are very pleased to add Nigeria’s most famous city to our destinations by connecting the economic powerhouses of India and the Middle East”, says Kay Kratky, CEO Jade Cargo International. “By doing so, we not only participate in the growing air freight market of those regions but also - as a Chinese carrier - make an important contribution to the growing political and economic relationships between China and Africa.”
